On Ten Rod Road in Wickford RI lives a man with a penchant for pigs and floatation devices.  I had stumbled upon this odd abode while investigating RI vampires.  As I cruised down the road making way to my objective I was admiring some of the beautiful old New England homes.  Potbelly Manor made its presence known.  My eyes were irresistibly drawn to this sea worthy spectacle like cheap metal to a magnet.  I pulled over across the street and quickly took a few photos.  There were a variety of items decorating the boarder of the yard. Buoys of all shapes, colors and sizes, life preserver, oars, a lighthouse, lobster traps and much more.  There was even a small boat with 'Titanic Life Boat' written on each side.  Shark fins surrounded it  and a skeleton was behind it.  Just as I was about to leave, I spotted The Duke of Potbelly Manor exited his house.  Unfortunately I already had a date with a vampire and didn't have the time to ask him about his unusual lawn ornaments.  I snapped a picture of him and was on my way.  As I drove away I tried to understand what would motivate a man to do this.  I really could put a finger on it but one thing I did know is that if we ever experienced a cataclysmic flood, Noah and his crew wouldn't be only survivors this time.  This was defiantly a story to be chalked up for another day.
